Attended Ambrose and Olivia 's wedding on Saturday at Dragon Palace Restaurant over in Northbridge!
For one night we had lots of fun! Thanks to Henry and Ben of course and not forgetting the glasses after glasses of beer and red wine!
Was really glad that i'm able to attend. Got to know Mike's bunch of friends heaps better. Imagine people coming up to you and goes "Yea, i know you are mike's gf. Always see you in his photos". I guess there was no need for any extra explaination! For one moment i am sooo proud to be Mike's lil baby =)
I'll just let the photos do the talking =)

How does it feels when you saw your bf's parents' holiday photos with your parents in them?
A sign of relieve for me definately! At least they hitched well! Seems like the family is getting along very well.
To be honest, i've never expected this day to come that quick!
From meeting the parents to now- my parents hanging out with my bf's parents.
How easy was that! I guess this could be "it"! Haha.
And since the bf's parents is back, my pressie from Leroy has finally arrived!!
THANKS YOU SOOO MUCH KY!

Loved the card and every single words he wrote in there!

Still wondering why he purchased those two items for me...
You know, those sort of "it represent some meaning behind it" kinda feeling.
Oh well, i guess i'll never find out!
But THANKS YOU! I'm soooo gonna display it when i have a NEW dressing table- that's like in forever i guess! IKEAAAAAAA, can someone bring me there!
So SDL, still short of your pressie now!
Thanks for your call- Sometimes you do hurt people with your words do you know? Or should i say do you even care about other people's feeling- or should i say MINE?
Anyhow. When you DO have time! +shoutout+ Oroton having spring sales!! Head down to DFO will you! =x

Welcome to my crazy family in Perth!

Dont you just love them to bits! At least i do- VERY MUCH!!
So we had a Dress up Party Dinner last Friday. Was a last minute crazy idea from me and kel. So both of us cooked dinner for the family and invited Mike over. Mike was such a loser that night since he didnt take any effort to come over dressed up! But overall, we had soooo much fun laughing our heads off at each other. And of course the best dressed award went to James- the wig was such a bonus on him!

Dinner was so fabulous!
-Assorted Tempura, Turkish bread with corn soup, Beef bacon wrap, Baked potatos, Caesear Salad, followed by dessert and sparkling juice.
But of course i'm not everyday crazy ok!
This is the real Silvia:

Got this dress from Wish for $140. Wore it on Siana's wedding.
And talking about wedding, next week is Ambrose wedding!! And Mike just asked me about Piks (Jenny's BFF) wedding. Since i'm not working on that day, i'm invited to attend her wedding reception!!! Which means- i gotta shop for more dresses!! And not forgeting there's Qiuwei's commission ball and my bro's wedding-But that's if i manage to get my leave thou..
Oh well, dont you love being a woman! Pretty dresses come to mama =)

What does it mean when you look at the grandpop's USA holiday photos and found yourself getting all excited that the bf's parents is coming back when you saw them in the photos?
i am seriously going through this dilemna at present. Cant believe i'm feeling such way and getting all excited for their return like they were my own parents! But i guess it's a good sign =)
So Mike picked me up from work and brought me to the airport to fetch his parents back. On the journey back home, Mike's dad was telling me where my parents brought them etc which i knew all too well since my parents talked about it to me every night! I'm seriously glad that they went out well.

Just came back from Siana's Wedding Party and BBC with the boys.
Mike had dinner with us on Friday night and camped over my place instead. So it was great that for once both of us dont have to squeeze in his super single bed but have more than enough space on my queen sized bed. Woking up beside him has never been better! That explains why i only managed to get out of bed around the noon and missed Siana's church wedding!!!
But at least i did made it to the Wedding Party. We didnt knew much people there but it was all fun. Has been such a wonderful experience to me- well, after attending mostly chinese wedding for all my life, an aussie wedding seems to be a breakthrough. In short, it just seems like every english movie kind of wedding.

it looks way better than the photo! With the rain under those lights and heater, soo much more romantic!
Dont focus on our wine! Look at the centre piece. Siana's dad actually made the ornament on the table.
the first dance.. Siana and Kyle together with Siana's parents.
My grad girls, Ashlee and Nicola.
Me and Ashlee
The bride. Her gown was home sewn!!! Man, she's 21 and married already!!!
then,
Picked Henry up and off we went to BBC.
mocking around again...
Cheers!!
Me and Mike

Henrys one and only favourite beer- Cherry beer!
Been a long day- though i spent half the day with Mike on my bed talking nonsense, but still... i am soo tired and soooo full now(thanks to them, we headed to Chinatown for some supper and seriously i orded a Hokkien noddles which tastes nothing like Hokkien noodles at all! how crap!).

"Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship - never"Just a little thought after reading
thisDo exes really make great mates?
Or do they complicate things further? Especially for any chance of a future relationship with someone else?
What do you think hey?
Do you still care for me i wonder sometimes... Sometimes i felt your concern, sometimes i felt your ignorance.... Sometimes you just make me ponder more about us.... Still, I'll wish you happiness anywayxoxo

Been another great weekend for me!
Friday was such a slacking day for me.. Had many plans for that day, but i was sooo freaking tired from work the day before that i slept till 2pm! Hahaha, so basically i woke up and rock up to pick Mike up from work.
Bought the Wii Fit for him as his bday pressie!
Spent the whole night over at his place watching telly and cooking our own dinner- instant mee of course! hahaha.
And yea- I slept over at his place yet again!
This time i was pretty tired to complaint about the small bed and such, and so i had a good night sleep!
Woke up in the morning with my baby in my arms.
Waited for Mike to plan for his cooking menu for next week and off we went for geoceries shopping..
Headed back his place and played Wii- this time it's COOKING MAMA!
I was "cooking" till 5ish pm and off we went to rockingham for Mike's work BBQ over at his team leader house.
Totally enjoyed the BBQ even though the weather's gay. Loved his bunch of working collegues. Had lots of fun and drinking and catching up and eating!
Guess i'm enjoying every bit of being Mike's gf!

How would you feel if you saw this from your tax return!

$5000!!!
Seriously, do we even get that much from our bonuses in Singapore? I dont know but i am sure that's a big lump sum of money to me!
Definately going to the downpayment of my car! (at least 1/2 of it!) - that's if i COULD get one first! Talk about driving lessons, damn i am seriously SLACK! Oh well, guess that's what complacency does to people!! Mike's being way tooooooooo nice to me i reckon. TSKTSK!
Horrrrrray to my weekend!!
It's gonna be a freaking RAINY WEATHER this whole week!!
WHAT A SPOILER!
Oh, and i forgot to mention that it was FATHER'S DAY over here last Sunday.
And my parcel filled with pressies and love finally reached Singapore yesterday!

just to be fair.. hahaha.. Mum got quite a fair bit of stuffs too!
Working abroad definately screwed up your "norms" after awhile! I didnt even realise it was mooncake festival till i saw my parents eating mooncake... arrrrrghhh... Now where's the mooncake and lanterns!!!
WHERE CAN I FIND ANOTHER CHINESE GARDEN HERE!
♥ 1:36 AM
I came back home to find Nik smiling very differently to me- OMG, she got her braces off!!
And boy, it looks good on her!!
Seems like ages ago i had my braces on!! Coming to my 2nd year without them after wearing them on for 3 years like since i was 17?
Thinking back it was soooo hideous!
And i actually thought i looked good with braces on!!! (faints)
I still remembered there was once when i went on a date with BFF on Valentine Day (since we are both single at that time, and he was back from melbourne.) I was actually terrified to meet him and constantly reminded him that i'm gonna look different with the braces on- EVEN WORST was when Leroy told me that without my "signature"- the vampire fangs he mean, i'm not the same "silvia" anymore. I could almost kill myself when he told me how not "adorable" i am gonna become with a proper set of teeth! (But well, he still loves me lah! haha) However, at least the BFF reckon it's gonna be worth it at the end of the 3 years- PRETTY LAH!
And damn,
I AM SERIOUSLY GRATEFUL THAT I GOT MY TEETH FIXED!
Worth those $$$ dad!
No more "signature" but i believe i'm still as adorable as before! (WHAHAHAHHA, alright just shoot me!)
Talking about it, Sky's going to have his wisdom tooths out tomorrow- i mean later in the arvo!
GOOD LUCK! I'm pretty sure Alexander Hospital has nice nurses like me taking care of you! haha. And i'm pretty sure you can type it all out later whining to me about your surgery!!
TAKE CARE!!
xoxo

My sunday started with me finishing my night shift on 0730.
Mike came to pick me up as promised and fetched me back home.
Poor GF gotta cook him brekky!
After the BF's stomach was contented, we headed back to my bed!
Doubt i managed to get a proper sleep with Mike being such a HUGE distraction for me!
Woke up at 1400 and played badminton with the "sisters".

playing at our backyard..
Then the BF left shortly to clean up his house.
So the 3 of us kept ourselves entertained by singing Karaoke in the lounge room.
Too bad we dont have the Singstar with us, but karaoking is good enough! hehehe.
Was pretty much singing our lungs out till 1800ish and we left for "rainbow club" BYO dinner party. (Shirley's dancing and singing group).

Overall, i cant ask for any better sunday!
i am soooo tired now!

3Hours was how much time me and Mike spent together today!
I dont know if I should be happy or not.+whine+
He picked me up this morning and off we went to Morley to fix my N95!
hOoooRAY!

dont you just love a 5megapixel phone? tsktsk
Now i have my N95 back!
They saw my phone and was like, "ok, we can fix the LCD screen within an hour". I wonder if they actually did check my phone for other problems or not.
But well, paid $89AUD in total.
Hang around the shopping centre for lunch and window-shopped a little.
Seems like i will be getting Mike his WiiFit for his pressie. As for me, (hahaha) i hope he drops the idea of getting me a digital photo frame and get me a pandora instead?
Alright, on 1 night shift tonight and when tomorrow morning comes, I shall be sleeping on Mike's arm in my bed! AWESOMENESS!

Retail therapy day today!
Jess T. picked me up from home today.
Went over to Harbour Town (Perth's sort of factory outlet) to do some cheap discount shopping!
Rather disappoint though, because there wasnt much brand of shops to shop from. Well, you see, at least in Melbourne, or other Eastern states' DFO( direct factory outlet), there is brands like FCUK, Ralph Lauren, Oroton, Tommy Hilifiger... At least you know you get some cheap ass baragin!
The best deal in Harbour Town:
Converse was cheap though, like clothes are already on discount and you still get 1/2 price off when you made payment.. But the Converse shoes here sells from $100. Got myself a jumper and gym pants. ( Make the bf happy lah, since he keep asking me to stock up on my winter wear)
Oh, at least there was a Levi's Store there.
Saw jeans selling at the price of $4.95. hAHAHA. If only i was a size L la!
Overall, i didnt shop much.
Went over to the City to shop instead.
Oroton and Colorado for dad. (Was trying to find myself something in Oroton too, but didnt saw anything in particular.. BFF how about a Oroton bag or brolly?? plz!)
and of course more KOOKAI!!
Total spending- $500ish!
ps: Poor Jess got her car clamped at Citywest carpark. WTF! Just because we parked for more than 2 hrs!!! Total damage: $120! Seriously, it just puts me off about parking and driving in Perth! +RAWRRRRRRR+

Chocy Cornflake Cookies Making session with the "sisters" on a "nothing better to do and damn the tv doesnt have any good programs!" Wednesday night.
Chocy Cornflake Cookies adapted from :
Taste.com.au
Preparation Time :10 minutes --> Kel and I definately spent more time than that!! Noobs i know!!
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients (serves 20):
125g butter
140g (2/3 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs, at room temperature
275g (1 3/4 cups) self-raising flour
170g (1 cup) sultanas --> we used less sultanas instead as we ran out of it!
80g (1 1/2 cups) cornflakes, lightly crushed --> we used every bit of the cereal we can find at home (Sultana Bran, Honey coated Cornflakes with Almond-yums!) Chocolate bits (as much as you want)- we had ours really chunky!
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper. Use an electric beater to beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until pale and creamy.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition until combined. Fold in flour and sultanas until combined.
Place the cornflakes on a plate. Use your hands to roll tablespoonfuls of the cookie mixture into balls, then roll in cornflakes to coat. Place the balls, about 3cm apart to allow room for spreading, on prepared trays.
Bake in preheated oven, swapping trays halfway through cooking, for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven. Set aside on the trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Our end product:

seriously i want my digi cam and my N95 back!! My old phone's camera just dont do any justice!
However, the cookies is yummy!
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Success!
