The weather has been crazy these days!!!!

The crazy strong wind from yesterday cut our power supply for like 6 hours!!! Man, it was terrible living in the dark!! No electricity, no internet, no power to turn on the lappie and tv, no heater, no hot water, brrrr....

candlelights...

And this morning, it started hailing!!!

started raining small ice cubes fromn the sky..

look carefully and you can see the white spots of ice cubes on the lawn..

Hope the crazy shit weather gets better before my bro is here!!

So how extactly are you comfortable in meeting someone that you have met online?

As for me and Daniel, i guess we should have met a long long time ago!

The story started that we met online very randomly (to be frank, i kinda forgot how i even know him or where i met him online- but i guess his profile must have been REALLY impressive, if not i dont usually reply back to random people! haha) So you know when you put a doctor and a nurse together, hahaa, i guess that's when we started chatting online. Funny thing is that in such a HUGE cyber space, we managed to find out that we're both actually working in Perth! He's an intern in RPH and me a nurse in SJOG- what a small world! So i guess that's part of the reason why i've kept in contact with him even thou we only chatted casusally at times.

And viola, i finally met up with him last week after soooooo long! (i would say maybe after msning him for a year? haha).

Met him up at his work place, and seriously! waiting at RPH's ED scared the hell outta me!

Went over to THE Royal at East Perth (i have never been to east perth before and boy it was sooo pretty! i must admit it has the best view and ambience ever!)

So the night went on with a bottle of corona.... starter.... shared a bottle of red wine between us.... had our mains...

lots and lots of chatting....

decided to change another location to chill and headed to Burswood...

had one more pint of beer....

and ..... (you can pretty much fill in whatever happen)

that's my night!!

Hope you guys had a great mummy's day celebration to reward your wonderful mum!! (it's a bit late for this post i know! shame on myself seriously!)

Happy Belated Mum's day to all the awesome mummy out there!!!

Firstly, i wanna thanks the fantastic mums that's in my life! Without them taking good care of me, i guess i'll be struggling to survive over here man!

Of course i gotta thanks Shirley the most! Practically she's my mum over in Perth just minus the nagging. haha. Gotta thanks her for welcoming me into their family and treating me just like her daughters.

So, as a tradition i got Shirley flowers for mum's day. OMFG, THEY WERE SO FUCKING PRETTY CAN! i like.. hint hint.. hahaha. beautiful flowers for such a beautiful mum!

Also, since i kinda spend most of my days off over at Mike's place and you knowing having dinner at their place etc, the next person i should thanks the most would be Mike's mum. His mum always tried her best to make me feel welcome and at home. Cooking dishes that i liked and inviting me over for family gathering etc. I'm really grateful! Therefore, this year i decided to do something nice for the mum as a token of appreciation.

Got aunty this personally hand-decorated vase of orchids since she loves orchids.

=)

and MOST IMPORTANTLY, GOTTA THANKS MY MUM THE MOST LAH!

without her there wont be me right? hahaha.

If you treat your mum nice 24/7, it's mum's day for her everyday isnt it? hahaha.

I MISS MY MUM!!!

Oh btw, did i told you guys that my brother is coming over with da sao for a short holiday at this end of may?
so..... 1 MORE WEEK TO MY ANNUAL LEAVE AGAIN!!! weeeeeeeeeee... cant wait to have my holiday with them!!

Bear with me! It’s going to take me a while to remember what I did before I flew to Singapore and back. Therefore this post is going to be a long and really long one. Haha. Just bear with me alright!!!

So, few days before I flew back to Singapore with Mike, the “parents” went for their own trip to Japan and HongKong leaving the 3 of us home alone again. Mike brought us to the airport to send the “parents” away.

sorry kel, you are not going anywhere!

At the airport

Me and Mike

With Nik

Man... i wanna go on my holiday soon too!!

In between cooking our own meals at home, we went over to Mike’s place to have steamboat with them since their parents is away on holiday too! Seriously, everyone of the family is like away on holiday during that time!!

The Lee's style steamboat

over at the Lee's place.

Oh yea, how can I forget that we went for the Basketball final match to support Tecky and his mates.

missing the coach Lee which is on holiday.. haha

The day finally came and I flew back to Singapore with Mike on the night of 27th March 09. Took the crappy Tiger Airway (seriously, my left foot was hurting ever since I landed that night. I have to end up seeing a Chinese physician which did all sort of brutally acts on my legs and man I thought I’m going to die in her room that day! Thankfully it helped ease the leg pain for like half a day, but I still ended up limping for 2 days straight on the cruise!)

my poor foot...

Cruise was alright. Superstar Virgo was big but not as big as what I thought it was! (Recently, I found out that it was actually the old SuperStar Leo that got revamped and renamed.) All you do everyday in the cruise was just eat and eat and eat!! Man, I feel so FAT now! Help!!!

We arrived at Penang Island on the 2nd day of the trip. Penang Island in my opinion is very much like any other Malaysia states- maybe just more Chinese. We joined a tour and explored some of Penang Island’s attractions. Sadly, i didnt had a chance to try Penang laska!!!

On the 3rd day, we arrived at Phuket Island in the morning. Phuket Island was such a disappointment! Both Mike and I did not enjoy any of it at all! Firstly, Patong Beach was such a let down! The beach was so commercial with so many stalls setting up for business and all. I was not tempted in any way to go down to the beach at all! Seriously, I reckon the beaches in Perth are way nicer and more beautiful then what I saw in Patong Beach. Next, the locals are so rowdy which turned me off completely! So yea, can you imagine just a few hours in Phuket and you felt like leaving already? That was how I felt!

Heading back to the ship

Bye Phuket!

The cruise was definitely an unwinding trip! Thought the time was passing so slowly when we first got on the ship, but who knows the next time you know you arrived back in Singapore! Didn’t really want to come back to Sinagpore for once! Hahaha. Had so much fun just unwinding and relaxing in the cruise- that’s life baby!
eat eat eat!

i look at you, you look at me...

FAT~~~

Coming back to Perth was definitely hard on me! Thanks to Mike and those around me during that time. I guess I came to this point that I’m not as strong as who I used to be and that I’m actually finding it harder and harder each time to leave home when I’m back. Guess home is something that can’t be replaced!

Back to Perth and back to reality. Have been busy working and of course keeping myself busy, just in case I get those haunting thoughts about missing home and start getting all cranky and shit.

ps: this post took me like a fucking day to finish up!!!
