I came home with this loot yesterday!

And nope, i didnt get the bag i wanted!! Haha. What a shame!!

Anyway since i'm going back soon, i thought i might just buy something that Singapore doesnt have. Then again, what does Perth have that Singapore doesnt have? Well i seriously dont think Singapore is lacking anything (besides my mum wanting me to buy gladwraps back), i guess i'll be bringing more things back to Perth compared to bringing things back to Singapore.

So you know it's like if you go over to Sydney you will and must buy Krispy Kreme back home? I guess in a way i think Oroton is the expensive doughnut here, just that maybe not much people even heard of it.

And guess what, this time next week i'll be boarding my plane flying back to Singapore, back to my home, back to where i belong...

So it's about time to do some exercise and lose some weights to gain them back in Singapore!!

Going to skip all the fats away!!!!!!!!

When i was in city last week, i couldnt help myself but did some shopping.

What a big mistake it was that i went to have a look at the Oroton shop.

And damnnnn, now i couldnt get my eyes off the Maison Tote.

Ok, maybe it's not the first time i actually felt so impulsive over a bag.

But i cant help but think that it's really so pretty and it's like PERFECT!! A tote and a sling bag!!!

ARRRRGGGHHHH. What else can you ask for? hahaha.

So should i spend that AUD695 on that bag?? Or save it till i get back to Singapore.

Sigh.

Tough shit to be a woman alright!! hahaa.

The 26th of Jan is Australia Day.

Every year my biggest wish is to go down to the Perth's foreshore to watch the Lotto sky firework.

On my first year here, i was totally unaware of it as i came during feburary. And seriously, i have no clue what the hell Australia Day was.

Then came my second year when oh, i found out about it and was so determined to catch the firework when i saw Mike's previous lotto sky firework photos. But damn it, i was in Singapore.

And best of all, 26th of Jan falls on CNY last year... So i have no company at all to watch the firework besides the TV!

And guess what,

this year i am stuck at home because i am doing night shift later. GAY SHIT!!

Cant i just catch a firework for once???

It has been ages since i saw one!!!

Oh there was this really random one a few months ago when we were at Kings Park taking photos when some how there was a mini firework display.

But that doesnt count damn it!!

Anyway, Happy Australia Day!

Not like i care about it or celebrate it anyway =)

Nothing much to blog about besides the fact that the weather has been f-ing HOT.
Seems like a punishment to be at home without the aircooler on.
Gosh, wonder where that Singaporean part of me fighting the humid weather 24/7 for over 20 years of my life went to??
Anyway, cant wait for summer to be over. bleh.. Tan what tan? Who needs a tan anyway? haha.

Counting down to Spore already!!! hoorayyy!!!

I've already got a to do list planned:
Now all I need is company and time!! hehhe.

1) Shopping! Ion, Orchard Central... any other new shopping centres? Shopping kaki anyone? Since QW is away in USA, i need a replacement badly!!

2) Sentosa IR... What, there is victoria secret, jimmy choo?!? Gosh, i think i really need a tour guide instead!! Any volunteer?? heheh.

3) Eat eat eat!!! Any good recommendation?

4) Need to sort out my CPF.

5) Get a new credit card. Any suggestion??

6) Relax and chill.. Any new bars??

7) Catch up with friends. Yesh, i'm free for a date! Find me out!! hahaha.

8) Do some sports. hahaa.

9) Manicure, pediacure, lash extentions...

10) Go to church. LOL.

I bet eveyone must have been on photo shoots before!

And betcha must be thinking the photographers are giving you a damn hard time trying to make you do some straining poses and blah blah blah.

But guess what, i think the photographers are the one having the real headache here!

And worst still, the photographer's assistant is the most pitiful one at the end of the day from doing all the hard labour. ahahaha. (ahem, i have to like pull some branches off the trees, carry the bags and camera, hold the umbrella etc- sounds like a jungle combat okie!!) hahaha

So yeah, it was an eye opener to tag along Henry's photo shoot.

Of course i got to thanks Henry's Bro, Victor who is a professional photographer himself teaching me all the tricks of the job. I am seriously impressed!!! And of course to Henry as well, hehehe for tagging along! Keep the passion alive ok, no matter under what circumstances!! hehehe.

I've definately learnt alot today!!

From the use of the umbrella, flash meter, and oh yeaa reflectors!! And how he cast the shadow away, chose the shots etc and posing the model etc.

Gosh, i am soooooooo inspired to be a damn kickass photographer one day!!!

Alright, i wont be posing the model photos as it is Henry's job. hahaha. Just to keep myself legally safe alright!

I going for my first ever photo shoot later!!! Excited!!!!
And guess what, i'm not even the model. LOL.

Well Henry is doing a photo shoot with a model for their portfolio so i'm going to tag along since i am so free! haha.

Guess it will be interesting to see what gadgets Henry is going to use and how the photos are taken. Hopefully those photos will turn out just like those photo spread you see on Elle magazine etc. Hehehe.

Looking forward working with them!! Or should i say, disturbing them!!! Hahaha, WATCH OUT PEOPLE!! HERE I COME!!

Borrowed the camera bag from the bf since mine's too small! haha, it's all about being professional!

Outdoor must have!!! Sunnies, sunscreen, insect repellent and mist spray. Just minus the umbrella!! haha. Talking about survival here alright!!!

Got to learn some skills and copy them down from the master!! I'm serious about learning here ok!

A surprise mail was delivered today!! (ok lah, maybe not that of a surprise since i knew about the mail weeks before, but then to open up the mail and to find out what is inside it was the big surprise lah!)

It's just unbelievable when i opened up the mail to discover that he wrote a message on our high school foolscap paper!!

Oh man, that is such a classic!!! Just brought back so many memories of when we used that to write messages on it and passes them to each other during classes instead of using it to do our assignments!!

Thanks Sky!! That was such a surprise and thanks for the braclets!! Lovely!!

He was so cute to even give me a call just then and said, " I think you liked dolphins"

Hahaha.

Thanks anyway.. It's the thought that count! Thanks you!

Just a quick question- Is there really a Mr/Mrs Right for everyone?

Well, Val said something to me today which kept me thinking for awhile.

She was asking me if i still have any intention to go back to Singapore for good.

And of course my answer to her was i dont know, because as much as i want to go back to Singapore there is always a part of me that i dont want to leave behind in Perth.

So, she said something along the line that meant " Then you havent found enough reasons to make you want to stay here and give up everything back home."

In fact, she actually said "You have not found the right guy that will make you want to give up everything to be with him yet."

Somehow the only reasonable answer to that is this:

Don't let someone become a priority in your life, when you are just an option in their life... Relationships work best when they are balanced."

Anyway, last week was me and Mike's 2nd anniversary!

Time do past really quickly when you are having fun!!

We went over to Freo!

And yesh, i am really honest and proud here to say that Mike has been a really good bf so far! (oh gosh, and it's only the last couple of weeks that Mike managed to find out about my blog. haha. Not that i have anything to hide from him but he has never came to me and asked me about it even thou he knew that i had a blog long ago. So one day he randomly did a search on my user name on google and viola, he found me that easily! haha)

(ps: Hi Mike if you are reading this!!)

Even thou there might be like 20% of the time that i do bitch about our relationship but the other 80% of the time i still get over it and tell myself to cherish him.

Well you see, he's the bf i have never had before- He is simple, stable and predictable.

He's the sort of guy that live everyday as it comes and as much as i hope he can give me an answer for our future, the sense of security that he gives me is something i never experienced before.

And so i've learnt so much about him and from him. Without him i guess there wont be this Silvia now.

From the first day that i have met him as the geeky guy that sorted my lappie out to calming the wild party animal side of me down, turning me into a beeraholic, teaching me how to drive, telling me it's better to stay at home sometimes and save the money and spend less, seeing him trying his best to be my bf, take care of me when i'm sick and nag me in everyway to get me better, and many many more etc...

Gosh, it's amazing what a relationship can does to you hey!

I am so mad happy today!!

Why- Because the postman decided to drop off my parcel which i have been waiting VERY IMPATIENTLY for a month!!!

Well, that parcel was sent from Singapore via registered airmail to me on 28/11/09.

And, hello... it's like the 6th of January 2010 today! (seriously, i gave up the hope of it turning up and even thought that it is lost.)

Gosh, god knows what happened during that period of time...

I was really annoyed and pissed off at like the 3rd week of waiting for my parcel to arrive, so i rang up Singpost to find out what happened and that !#$! operator i spoke to didnt even answered any of my queries and spent her bloody time telling me to fill up this form to start the investigation (which i already did) and ended the conversation!!! LIKE... OK, THAT'S A LOT OF HELP!! (roll my eyes, is that what singapore customer services standard is hey?)

So, fine... i rang up Au post instead and they could not even find the record to show that the parcel has arrive in the Au custom.

Anyway... end of arguement. No point to waste my breath on this again.

I'm just damn madly happy that it has finally arrive against all odds!!!

Lesson learnt: When there is hope , anything is possible even if it seems impossible!

The parcel is really important to me because i got my bro to get me some shirts from tawain.

So with the brand new year, i have been searching high and low to find myself a desk calender. Well you see, a nurse's roster is really hard for you to actually remembered when you work or not. hahaa.

And can you believe it, to my horror it's sooooooo hard to find one and people dont even give it out to you FOS like how it is back home!!!

AAAARGHHH, so i have to spend 20 bucks and buy it after a long search. (pull a face)

Anyway, here are my new year resolutions:

To stop cursing and swearing THAT MUCH.

Try to be HEALTHY and actually take care of myself so that the bf can have a break. haha.

Get 6 hours of sleep everyday. Try to sleep early if possible.

Get my P plate and buy a car.

If possible, move out and get a place myself.

Find a new hobby- Golf.

Get a social life. LOLx.

Earn more money, or should i say, start saving and spend less!

Holiday!

Be a better person. hahaha. Stop my complaining etc.

Happy New Year everyone!

I suppose it’s the time of the year again to sum up the year 2009 and reflect on myself and wonder what the hell 2010 has for me?

My 2009 year:

Every January would be something I would be looking forward to as simply because every 4th day into the New Year would be me and Mike’s anniversary! Cant believed we survived our first year together and gosh, the 2nd one is coming soon already!!

All i can say is thanks you my dear! Guess it's been a pretty hard year for you to go through all my ups and downs. hehee. And not forgetting pleasing me and giving me the very best of you (of course there is still room for improvement!). Till now i'm still really glad that i've chosen him , being in Perth, experiencing and leading a life i would never ever imagine i would in Singapore.

Celebrated Henry's 29th. OMG, old fart.
Did i tell you i'm so glad that we got along well? (sign of relieve)

Not forgetting it was an early Chinese New Year for us. Celebrated CNY along with Aussie Day, and of course i've missed my opportunity to catch the firework again (pull a long face).

Cant wait to get back to Singapore to have reunion dinner with my family. Oh my gosh, Kel's granny aka my aunty made the best dishes for CNY. Counting down!

February marked the survival of my first year of nursing over here! Definitely worth a toast of celebration I reckon! As far as it is concern, I guess I’m pretty much loving my job just minus my random whining of the patients and staffs to the poor bf. Hahaha. So yea, I would say I would still pretty much look forward to climbing up the career stairs.

Soon i'm finishing my 2nd year and going on to 3rd year already. Weee, looking forward to my increasing pay already! Hahaha.

And oh yea, poor Kel gets to be cannulated by me at home! Hahaa, thanks kel for the support! =)

and of course, it didnt work! hahaa.

Also about the same time we found out a piece of shocking news, Shihling is having a baby!

Went to watch my first musical of my life (I think), Phantom of the Opera with Jenny, Des and Henry. Oh gosh, did I tell you Chicago is coming to Perth!!

Wished the bf was there, but oh well... thanks Henry for the ride!

March was a fulfilling month I reckon.

Supported Henry in his world's greatest shave.

Started my latest fetish- Scrapbooking which is a flop I think since I haven’t done much about it still.

April is a holiday month!!
We went on a cruise and back to Singapore. This time i've got the comfortm of having Mike with me 24/7 as he is staying with me over at my bro's place. Thanks bro!

Also,

I pointed a gun at Mike's head and forced him to accompany me to watch Cats at the Esplande. haha. It was an awesome show just minus me trying to keep the bf awake. lOl.

Once in a lifetime splurge, we've actually went up the cable car to dine. How cool is that! It's not like everyday you get to eat on a cable car. haha. Oh gosh, now i want to try the sky dinning on the Singapore flyer. lol.

Celebrated James and Shirley church wedding- I think it was more like a plan to get Mike to go to the church. Haha.

May was exciting

I welcomed Bro and Kris over for a holiday!

Finally went to Busselton. omfg, of all times it has to be closed for renovation. gay shit.

God ma came over during June and it was Mac and Shiaw Ling’s wedding!

Nothing much special really happened during July besides Mike started building his house!

August we welcomed Lil baby boy of Shihling.

And of course I turned 23! (horror)

September is fun fun fun!

Catch up with my cousin and her lil one during October. So nice to have relatives around i reckon.

And then came November which is pretty much with nothing happening besides got told that Mike's going to Anthony's buck night which drove me mad. haha. And we celebrated Ben and Michelle's engagement party.
