Happy Chinese New Year guys!!
This year marks the 3rd CNY that I’ve celebrated away from Singapore, away from my loved one! And you know what, it’s not the red packets that matters at the end of the day, it’s all about the yummy food that my family cooks that I terribly missed it soooo much. And not forgetting the River Hongbao and the buzzling Chinatown!
Dunno about you guys, but CNY to me is such a hassle and a waste of time. Imagine all the last minute hard work to clean up the house just before CNY, and helloooo, not like we don’t clean the house at other point of time? What a good excuse for us to slave and wash 2 cars and polish every inch of the house and that includes the huge basket of laundrys too!! Somehow at this point of time, I MISS MY MUM!! Hahaha.
Missing all the CNY songs that she used to blast in the early morning just to wake us up, and btw I still hated it! Waking up early on CNY just to get their FAT red packets, etc. Therefore, CNY 2010- I will be sure to be back in spore to celebrate it!
Spent my CNY eve over at grandpop’s place. Everyone was like, “shouldn’t you be having reunion dinner with Mike’s family instead?” OMG!! That’s soooo sad! Thanks to Kel with her, “ WHAT! Silvia’s part of our family too!” Owe you big one kel! I’ll remember this!

CNY on the 26th January happen to be Aussie day too!! I soooooo wanna go for the Lotto Skywork to see fireworks!!! But the bf rejected me! Pfft. Hope you guys have a good CNY! Take care!
