Happy New Year everyone!!

How quick has 2008 pass!! Seriously hey, the older you get, the quicker the time flies. GAY! Oh well, time to sum up my 2008 =)


2008 began with a totally kickass countdown party at Yihvoon’s place. At that time I wasn’t with Mike yet. However, with every action we made, it rekindles all the chemistry we had for each other. I guess I knew I fallen head over heels for him.



4th January 2008

Amidst from all our random smsing, we casually smsed about BF and GF and the next thing I knew, he asked if I am real with it. AND VIOLA!! Uncle became my BF from then on!!

I would say my very first date with Uncle was a few days later when we head to the beach with the rest. Still awkward thou, and I’m pretty sure we didn’t spoke much the whole time at all! I guess partly because we haven’t told the family we are OFFICALLY TOGETHER too.





Our officially first date came when Mike handed me a letter (his assignment) to read on my flight back to Spore. We went over to South Perth and had a stroll. And man I can tell you the city is soooo pretty from there. That’s the day when I held tightly to the hands of the man I loved.





Everything seems to be going smoothly, or should I say going as planned. I got my job offered and VIOLA, I knew I was gonna start work on early Feb and thus I gotta come back to Perth earlier! At that point of time I was jumping in joy as I know it’s not a painful one month stay in spore! (DUHZ hey! sometimes to think about it, why do I have so much against spore at that time!).


10th January 2008

I flew back to Singapore for the very first time after spending a year over here. I was sooooo not looking forward to going back at all the whole time. I still remember packing my bags the very last minute, and telling Kel how much I will miss Perth and blah.


11th January

Met up with BFF and Yann joined us shortly. Headed over to MOS and I guess that’s where their chemistry began hey? Tsktsk. Was joined by Andrew and I think I spent the freaking whole night looking after his wallet!



12th January

Family dinner at home. Just feel like the good ol’ days! Man I miss my family sooo much!


13th January

Happy Birthday Sheryl! So glad to make it for your 21st! Had so much fun catching up with you all!


14th January

OMG! My very first time in KBOX or should I say KTVing in Singapore!! Hahhaa. I guess that’s when I had a fetish with KBOX!


16th January

Meet up with the girls and saw lil Josline, Adel’s lil one! OMG, everyone of my friends is turning into a mum! Who’s next? Hehhe.




17th January

Homies came to SPORE!!! SUPER EXCITED!! Finally I can be a tour guide!





18th January

JAY CHOU CONCERT!! Sooooooo good that I’ve fallen in love with Jay. Heheehehe. Cant wait to see his concert again!!





20th January

Homies went back to Perth. However, I didn’t left my remaining time in Spore to spare. More meet up with everyone!








1st Feb

I'm back in Perth.

Had a couples of meet up with Erin before she flew off for good! And god I miss her! Miss her reckless driving, miss her cheerfulness, just miss this good friend of mine in Uni!




6th Feb

The start of CNY and of course my parents came over to Perth along with the rest of the relatives! And how can I forget about my graduation!!! I remembered the weather was soooo hot! Hello, it’s summer okie and we have to freaking wear the grown! But still, I’ve graduated!!!! And say hi to working life, SHRUGS!








March was filled with more dating with Mike.






Then came April where we went down to Dunsbrough for some salmon fishing trip!

For once my hubby can be made to full use. Hehehe.







And for the first half of the year, there was just too many birthdays to attend! Mainly are Mike’s family. I would say I’m really glad to be part of his family and they never failed to include me on special occasion! Thanks thanks!














And then June came with much anticipation as I’m going back to Spore again! And this time it's with Mike and we’ll be going to HongKong!!


Regret not spending more time in Spore as it’s just a short 4 day trip back, however I had tons of fun meeting everyone up. And of course I get to see lil Vera!! Importantly, I held Mum and Dad’s birthday celebration. It’s a wish come true definitely! From young I always wanted to do a birthday celebration for my parents, inviting all our relatives and celebrate the big event. I guess with me working oversea, I’ve managed to earn enough and invited 4 tables of relatives for this special occasion. And of course my parents were soooo happy on that day!! This is definitely something I will keep close to my heart in this lifetime.













30th June

Hongkong trip!! Totally awesome.. I loveee HK to bits. More importantly, shopping was awesome!






Along the way I’ve attended heaps of wedding! There was Ambrose, Siana and Piks. Who’s next I wonder? Hehehe.




18th August

I TURNED 22!! So FARK OLD! Just a quiet celebrate this time round, and it sums up my 2nd birthday I’ve celebrated away from my family. But oh well, I’m joined with Mike’s family instead.


And soon couples of months just flew pass and soon it’s December!! Went for my first ever xmas party! Totally awesome! Even though sometimes it might feel that we’re culturally different and how horrible it is to be the only asian. But at least I know everyone else loved me hehehe. Or at least treat me nice lah!



Another thing i am grateful about is that i've managed to meet lots of new friends! Thanks to Mike for parading me of course, so glad to know Mike's bunch of friends. Especially Henry! Hahaha. And how can i forget Jenny got herself a BF! Des is part of our bunch now! AND AND AND.. how can i forget about SKY!!! Nice knowing you!! And of course to my other friends that sticked to me all these while!! Loved you guys to bits! I know i'm sooo fortunate because of you all!







And weeeeeee!! I went back to Spore for the 3rd time!! (OMG , seriously so broke, that’s where all my moolahs went to!) What made this trip so special was that my brother’s getting married and I’m his bridesmaid!! Still cant believe my one and only brother is a husband now! And also, I'm sooooo happy to be attending QW's commissioning ball!!


















On the contrast, this time round I’m so not looking forward to going back to Perth. I guess I’ve been missing out too much on Singapore! Guess I had enough of changes in my life or what so ever.


31st December

Finally up to the last day of 2008! For once, this year celebration is not as bash as last year. Just BBQ over at Shiaw Wee’s place with the usual us. Didn’t made it to Alicia’s party as I have no one to drive me back to Atwell as everyone will be drinking. Pfft, so I missed out on that. BBQ was alright, countdown was alright. I seriously want to see firework lor! Oh well, hope you guys had a better new year party than me!








So just like that 2008 is over!

Although 2008 went by quick, it was indeed a good year for me! Another year older, another year wiser isn’t it? I guess 2008 has definitely brought me to my senses with so many stuffs happening and I’ve gained so much and learnt so much. I am indeed grateful for my life experiences. I might have hurt people along the way unintentionally and being not sensitive enough, for that I’m really sorry. I’m still growing up and trying to be the best of me I can be. So as 2009 comes along, I wonder what does it has for me?
