Me and Kel decided to take a stroll around our neighbourhood after the storm.

(Yesh i know i'm a bit late for this post but that doesnt matter. haha.)

Cant imagine how much damage the storm has done! (Considering that our area was not badly affected in the first place and there were worst in some places).

That image in my head is something that i will most probably remember for the rest of my life.

From the moment we stepped outside our house and seeing our front garden... It's like that particular bushes and plants isnt on that usual spot anymore and the whole lawn looked so empty now.

That walk on our usual path to the local deli was so different as well.
Walking past the streets with debris everywhere, seeing some of the neighbours' garden in destruction and the cars that have being hit by the hail with so many dents on them, families chatting at the front lawn about the storm that has happened and the dads chopping up the fallen trees, repairing the fences that have been damaged.

Woah, one thing i did learnt is to never underestimate mother nature's power!
Well i mean, Singapore is fortunate enough not to have any natural disaster at all. It's just an incredible feeling to know that you have survived a storm unharmed and the sense of righteous to rebuild your community or to help those that is hurt is just so strong! It's like before i can never relate to those people that you watch in front of the tv being affected by like the tsunami, earthquakes, bushfires etc. You kind of just take pity on them and pray in your heart that you are so fortunate compared to others. But now i know what an ordeal it must have been for them to go through and rebuild their lives.

Dont you think we humans are indeed just so vulnerable??
I guess it's time to reflect on ourselves and rethink through our priorty in life.
After all, what's the point of these greed and wealth and the never ending social status and power in this materalistic world when who knows, we might not even survive the next disaster??
Time to seek peace and harmony in this troubled enough world already i reckon!!

WORLD PEACE!!!
